Annual Secondary School Camp 2015

Debate Association (Singapore) held its annual Debate Camp for secondary school students at Anglican High School between 25 and 27 November 2015. The camp had participants from 33 different educational institutions and covered a range of topics from the structure of argumentation to the fundamentals of good style and improvisation. We also had the privilege of having Ms Vihasini, Mr Lee Chin Wee, Ms Nar Sher May and Mr Reuben Lopez serving as guest lecturers at the camp. The camp eventually culminated in an exhibition debate where the facilitators showed the fun side of debate by discussing the nature of love and whether that nature would be substantially changed by the use of a love potion.
The photos taken at the camp will be uploaded onto our Facebook page ( soon. For those who were unable to join us this year, we look forward to seeing you next year!
